SAAKHI SINGH

Saakhi Singh is from Kobe, Japan, and is currently a Freelance Producer based in London. Being an Indian born and raised in Japan, Saakhi has had the opportunity to learn and communicate within various cultural settings and understand the importance of having a global perspective. From a young age, Saakhi has also developed a passion for storytelling; constantly seeking ways to tell stories that can help bridge gaps in cultural understandings. Recognised by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Committee, her work has captured the unique lives of inspiring individuals: the first woman and person of colour to be elected Boston’s Mayor; a Japanese ceramics artisan considered to be a National Living Treasure; the first Sikh to play Division 1 Baseball. She aims to continue to develop her skills and use her expertise to tell meaningful stories that resonate with others on a global scale.
